Equipped with modern, state-of-the-art instrumentation, the Center for Audiology and Phoniatrics operates 24/7 for inpatient emergencies, while providing scheduled outpatient services during designated days and hours.

The Center was established to meet the growing need for rapid, highly flexible, and world-class specialist services dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of audiological and phoniatric disorders. These services cater to pediatric patients (infancy, early childhood, and adolescence), adults, and the elderly.

Led by its current Director—who brings extensive clinical and academic expertise as the former Director of the Complex Operative Unit (UOC) of Audiology at the Policlinico Gemelli, as well as former President and Professor of the Speech and Language Therapy Degree Program at the Policlinico Gemelli and subsequently at the Claudiana Provincial School of Health Sciences (Bolzano)—this high-profile center operates with a dedicated team of audiometrists, hearing aid specialists, and speech-language pathologists.
